Privacy policy.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information I collect through this website, why I collect it, and how it is used and protected. Adreil Photography (referred to here as I, me, or the studio) is the controller of that information. By using this site or sending an inquiry, you agree to the practices described below.

Information I collect

When you send an inquiry, I collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, and anything you share about your event, such as the type of shoot, location, dates, and your message.

When you browse the site, my hosting provider automatically records limited technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure and running well. See the cookie policy for how cookies fit in.

How I use your information

I use the information you provide to:

  • respond to your inquiry and plan your shoot or wedding;
  • provide photography services if you decide to book;
  • send information you request, such as a pricing guide;
  • keep records required for tax and legal purposes;
  • maintain and improve the website.

I do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Legal bases

Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, I rely on these legal bases: your consent (for example, when you send an inquiry), performance of a contract (when you book), and legitimate interests (running and securing the site, and replying to enquiries).

Sharing your information

I share information only with trusted service providers who help me run the studio, such as website hosting and email delivery, and only as far as needed to provide their service. I may also disclose information if required by law. Your information is never sold.

Data retention

I keep your information only for as long as it is needed. Inquiry details are kept for a reasonable period in case you get back in touch. For booked work, records are kept for the length of the engagement plus any period required for tax and legal reasons, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict how it is used. Residents of the EU and UK have these rights under the GDPR, and residents of California have similar rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of them, contact me at kds13adreil@gmail.com.

International transfers

As a destination photographer working across the United States, the Philippines, and worldwide, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens, I take steps to make sure it remains protected to a similar standard.

Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. I cannot guarantee absolute security, though I work to keep your data safe.

Children

This site is not directed to children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will remove it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Please check back occasionally.
